We grow a variety of Traditional and Western herbals in our gardens, harvesting is a family affair. Kitchen spices ae staple medicines. We got tired of prescribing good quality healing chai and not having patients find it without extra sugars added! We wanted it to be stand alone by itself, no caffeine so if one wanted ot use it as a kidney or rLung (wind) tonic and this was nearly impossible to find. Thus we started making our own chai spices.

We take custom orders for chai in almost any ammount, many people bring a jar and request it filled. We also have a variety of sizes for chai spice available in the clinic. In winters we make medicine butters to keep the digestive fire ablaze and fight off deep cold and wind. You can find a article Nashalla wrote on traditional medicine butters on the Articles pages.

In summer and throughout the year we harvest many things to make medicinal massage oils, compress materials and bath treatment supplies for external Kunye treatments. Every fall we rush to collect the elderberry before the birds get them and the whole family makes elderberry tonic for the winter.

Often we make custom teas and decoction formulas based on a recipe that best suits your individual needs. We can make these custom blends for you, or we can direct you to a local apothecary that will fill the recipe we write.

It is our hope we can inspire YOU to grow and make some common healing substances from things you find in your kitchen cabinets and gardens. It is not uncommon for people to leave an appointment with a recipie to make in the crock pot or stove top or a list to take to the herb store to make an infusion or tincture. We will take custom orders for some items — case dependent.
