“As a Tibetan doctor I appreciate the system of medicine which has been practiced for nearly 3,000 years among my people. Tibetan medicine is very hard to learn. The average Tibetan doctor takes 5 years to study and 2 years more to do internship under a master. We rely on qualified masters to show us the path and also to teach how to prepare the formulas. Our elder masters are passing away and we are loosing some of their knowledge. We need the opportunity to share with our younger generation the benefits of Tibetan medicine.”
