10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. MST
The Buddha taught the root cause of suffering is ignorance or unknowing. Ignorance forms the three root poisons and five aggregates, which we habitually cling to and repeat through our thoughts and actions to perpetuate suffering. As we develop in mindfulness, we embrace knowing ourselves. Cultivation of the wisdom we all possess increases our capacity for awakening.
For thousands of years, medicine, psychology, and Dharma in Tibet were interconnected, propagating a more profound balance within body, speech, and mind.
This talk will explore fundamental aspects of Buddhist Mind Training from the tradition of Sowa Rigpa, The Science of Healing. Learn tools to develop insight in formal mediation practice and everyday choices to penetrate and illuminate our wisdom states.
