Often said, “The most excellent medicine is Dharma.” This statement relates to antidoting of our habits, tendencies, preferences and patterns, all which pull us away from clarity and luminous wisdom. Simple Buddhist pathophysiology explains how Dharma moves in bodily form and within our minds. For thousands of years, such methodologies have been used in traditional Tibetan Medicine, Sowa Rigpa, The Science of Healing to aid yogic and Buddhist practitioners.

No one method of Buddhist practice is “most effective” for all people, yet preliminaries clear obstacles and specific meditations are applied for specific energies. Applying a balanced approach suited to one’s individual body, elements, and mind typology aids significantly in cultivation of wisdom states. Understanding how elements reflect within and upon us is why teachers meet with students as they progress along their path, to give guidance with inner patterns.
