Wellness & Dietary Lifestyle Plan

90 MINUTES

Tibetan Medicine works by accessing an individual’s elements and their organ systems. The body is comprised of three main energies (often translated as “humors”). These are rLung - wind (pronounced “Loong”), mKhrispa - fire (pronounced “Tripa”) and Badkan earth-water (pronounced “Pay-kan”). These three primary energies exist both in healthy and unhealthy states.

The goal is to have balance or homeostasis which is fluid and transitional with the seasons and life cycles and stages. Tibetan Buddhist psychology, spiritual well being, personal satisfaction and happiness, along with other support systems are applied to increase overall well being.

The first session is around 1.5 hours. Traditional diagnosis requires a full dietary review, pulse and urine analysis. This need for pulse and urine analysis is one reason why we require an in-person intake even from long distant clients. Ones lifestyle, and how it contributes to health, happiness or disregulation is addressed. We can provide you a write up for you to take with you to other health care providers you are working with, for an additional charge.
